Fees
2008 Conference Registration (automatically includes a 1-year journal subscription)
- Late (from Oct. 1 to Nov. 2, 2008): $215
- Students: Deduct $75 from your fee; valid student I.D. required at check-in
(Students who paid the initial rate will be re-imbursed for the difference) - Area Chairs: Deduct $50 from your fee
(Area chairs who paid the initial rate will be re-imbursed for the difference)

Hotel Registration Link -- If you receive a "sold out" message, please call the hotel directly to book your room at the group-rate discount: (847) 698-6000. Alternatively, we can request that the number of rooms blocked off for Wednesday be increased; call the Center (920-424-0976) if you have scheduling problems for October 29.
PANELS WILL BE SCHEDULED THROUGHOUT THE FOUR DAYS. BOOK YOUR FLIGHT AND YOUR LODGING AT THE WESTIN O'HARE FOR THE FULL CONFERENCE (OCT. 30 - NOV. 2). EVEN WITH ITS MODEST NUMBERS, THE F&H CONFERENCE THRIVES BECAUSE PRESENTERS ATTEND OTHER PANELS ON OTHER DAYS. PLEASE HONOR THIS COLLEGIAL SPIRIT.

The Westin O'Hare, while only a block away from the metro-train, is well outside downtown Chicago and is not adjacent to other hotels. Participants should stay at the conference hotel, not only for the exceptional discount, but for geographical convenience. Staying at another hotel might seriously jeopardize conference participation because of the time required to travel to The Westin O'Hare.
All Panelists:
1.Video projectors--with sound--will be provided in every room for panelists wishing to present clips or Powerpoint-style media. Remember to bring your laptops! Our new NEC VT800 projectors also have USB ports for computer-less presentations, but this aproach is untested.
2. Time your presentations to run approximately 20 minutes.
