T. S. Eliot: Voices & Visions (1988) An excellent insight into a complex and highly gifted poet who was born in St. Louis and concluded his life more-British–than-the- British in London, where he sought sanctuary in the Church of England. Nobel Prize winner Eliot has written some of the most profound poems of the 20th century. Personally, at age 19 I was powerfully affected by The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.
