Escape From Sobibor
Escape From Sobibor(1987) Extraordinary account of how Jews, together with captured Russian soldiers, organize a desperate breakout from a Nazi Holocaust death camp at which perhaps 1 million prisoners were killed. The spirit to survive and to tell the outside world of the horrors of the Holocaust inspired an unlikely band of Jewish civilians to engage in the largest successful escape from a Nazi concentration camp. Many of the 600 escapees were killed before reaching nearby woods. Only about fifty survived until the end of WW II.
