The Tuskegee Airmen

The Tuskegee Airmen (1995), This Time Warner video, together with Simple Justice (the video and book), should be seared into the memories of all Americans, old and young. The Tuskegee airmen of the Afro-American 332nd Fighter Squadron endured the full range of Jim Crow indignities, as they steadfastly persevered to serve their country in World War II. I found it ironic that the Tuskegee airmen, who compiled a superb combat record, were forced to move out of their train seats to accommodate a group of Nazi prisoners. Eleanor Roosevelt played a vital role in providing the Tuskegee airmen a chance to serve their country magnificently.
