2011 Oshkosh Dragonboat 5K/10K

5K Fun Run/Walk & 10K Run

Race Day Registration: 8:30am

Start Time: 10:00am

Awards Ceremony: (top finishers in each age category will be recognized) 11:30 a.m.

Start/Finish Line at Hooper Community Center, 36 Broad Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901

Race starts in downtown Oshkosh and runs east towards Lake Winnebago. 10K route includes paved trail along Lake Winnebago.

5K Fun Run/Walk: $18 individual*. All 5K participants will receive a 100% cotton t-shirt, bib, timing chip and refreshments following the race.

10K Run: $25/individual*. All 10K participants will receive a wicking t-shirt. bib, timing chip and refreshments following the race.

*Individual rate valid until September 20th.

Groups of 10 or more may register as a team and have their team name imprinted on the back of their tee-shirts for an additional $2/team member.

Proceeds from the Oshkosh Community Dragonboat Festival support:

1) The Oshkosh Community Dragonboat Scholarship, a financial-need based scholarship available to Winnebago County residents seeking to fulfill their personal, academic or career goals through a degree program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

2) The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, offering membership assistance to over 2,400 youth, families and individuals annually. The Strong Kids Campaign assures older adults, individuals with disabilities, group home members, and financially challenged individuals participation at the Oshkosh Community YMCA.
