We received our travel dates on October 30.  Hooray!  We leave for Kazakhstan on November 26!  The first leg of our trip will be to Almaty, Kazakhstan, via Frankfurt, Germany.  We should arrive there late in the evening of November 27.  At that point, I don't think either of us will be in the mood to cook a turkey.  We'll meet with some of our adoption coordinators on the morning of November 28, then it's off to Uralsk that same day! 

During our trip, we'll try to keep our website up to date with pictures and information about where we are and what we're doing.  As Kazakhstan adoption rookies, though, we're not sure if we'll have either the technical proficiency to maintain an Internet connection or the energy to post every day.  But you can see by the links at the left that that's our goal.   We'd really like to have some company on our trip to meet and bring home our son.  Please click on one of the dates at the left to follow along on our journey.  If you're interested in more information about Kazakhstan the country (it's the 9th largest country in the world!), please see the links below.
