First Proteomics and Functional Genomics Core Facility Colloqium held at the annual meeting of the North Central Branch of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) at UW Oshkosh

Instrumentation

Our Core Facility is fully equipped with all of the requisite instrumentation to perform routine analyses in proteomics and functional genomics.

Gel electrophoresis equipment for one- and two-dimensional protein separation
An Agilent 1100 Series HPLC for protein separation

Gel imaging instrumentation and analysis software (fluorescence scanning imager and CCD-based imager)
MALDI-TOF and ESI-Ion Trap mass spectrometers to identify and characterize proteins
automated DNA sequencer
