Feingold Caught on Tape

On October 4, 2002 US Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin) visited Oshkosh to endorse District 54 Assembly candidate James Genisio. When he arrived, he was met by a throng of protesters urging him to vote NO on the Bush Administration's Iraq Resolution. As we can see from the right hand side of the picture, at least one person caught the Senator's appearance at the peace rally on tape. Feingold, the only member of the US Senate to vote against the USA PATRIOT Act, may have been lecturing the videographer on how to avoid having the tape confiscated by Attorney General John Ashcroft.
