Barry Weber At Rally
On January 20, 2003 the Fox Valley Peace Coalition sponsored a "March For the Life and Ideas Of Martin Luther King, Jr." The march started at Grand Opera House Square Park in Oshkosh and traveled down Algoma Blvd. To the UW Oshkosh Reeve Union. Held against the backdrop of an impending war against Iraq, the march became a peace rally featuring many protesters with signs. After the march, dozens of rally participants held an informal teach-in at Reeve Union. UW Oshkosh student and folk singer Barry Weber performed some spiritual tunes.
