Oshkosh State Representative Gregg Underheim (R-54th District) marched in the Memorial Day 2002 Parade. A 15 year incumbent, Underheim has withstood challenges from Tony Palmeri (1996), Polly Briley (1998), Melanie Bloechl (Republican primary 2000), and Greg Belken (2000). Recently, Democrat Jim Genisio announced his intention to run against Underheim. The parade attendees in the photo don't seem to be too mesmerized by Gregg. Perhaps they didn't recognize him with the hat?
