Commentary Mascot: Dundee the Crocodile

Commentary co-host Tony Palmeri received this loveable crocodile as a 39th birthday gift in the year 2000. He's battery operated and can sing and dance "Crocodile Rock" when the little red button between his feet is pressed. Tony named the crocodile "Dundee" and found that the little fellow is most happy in the Commentary Dempsey Hall studio. Sometimes Palmeri and Mather find themselves thinking "what a crock" when guests (especially politicians) respond to questions. At such times, they look to Dundee for moral support. A crocodile is a most appropriate mascot for Commentary since, according to the Crocodile Specialist Group, crocs are "the most vocal of all reptiles."
