Steve Bender, a candidate in the April 2002 election for Oshkosh Common Council, appeared on Commentary with a stiff neck in February of 2002. Steve Bender is the son of Ken Bender, a well-known political gadfly in Oshkosh. Mr. Bender did not win election to council in April, and has not announced if he will run again.
