We Need Your Help In Setting Editorial
Agenda
Published in the Oshkosh Northwestern of December 24, 2001
The new year will bring about an updated focus for The
Northwestern's editorial page as we look to set an agenda for 2002,
not unlike past years where we selected and focused on several key
topics of importance throughout the year.
We want your help in selecting the topics to guide us as we set an
agenda. There is no shortage of important issues to consider. All we
ask is that you follow a few simple rules:
- Send the suggestions no later than January 1.
- Select key topics such as education or taxes, but expand on
why they merit being put under the microscope for the year.
- Let us know if you'd like your suggestions to be published as
letters to the editor. Every suggestion cannot be selected, but
they certainly can contribute to the ongoing dialogue in our
community. Suggestions for publishing need to meet the criteria
for letters to the editor: a limit of 300 words, full first and
last names and a phone number to verify the letter.
- Please send your ideas to: Agenda 2002, P.O. Box 2926,
Oshkosh, WI 54903, e-mail to
jfitzhenry@smgpo.gannett.com
or fax (920) 235-1527.
We'll publish our agenda in early January along with your ideas
and suggestions.
