The 2007 European Odyssey will offer a "Spring Break" midway through the semester. During this "week off", students will be free to arrange their own travel itinerary. The "break" will begin at the end of classes in Athens, Greece. (April 13th). After the break, classes will resume in Rome, Italy. Students wishing to travel during this period of time must make their own travel arrangements and make sure they are in Rome (Sunday, April 22) for the continuation of classes (Monday, April 23). For students NOT travelling on their own, arrangements will be made to provide transportation from Athens to Florence, Italy where accommodations will be available for the "break." Transportation from Florence to Rome where classes will resume will also be included. Florence is centrally located and is ideal for day trips to numerous northern Italian locations such as Venice, Ravenna, Milan, Pisa, Sienna and Bologna as well as the Italian Alps.
