Follow the steps below to become a member of the Oshblog.

1. Start at the blog homepage, where you will find an e-mail link in the welcome message that allows you to tell us that you'd like to join. You don't need to write any special message. Just send the e-mail. We'll respond with an invitation that includes a link to the Blogger site.
2. Go to the Blogger site: www.blogger. com. Start a blogger account. You'll be asked to supply a user name and a display name, which is what will be used to identify your posts. You also have to provide an e-mail address and accept Blogger’s terms.
3. When you are ready to start blogging, you'll sign in (at www.blogger.com) and go to the screen you use for posting.
4. The top line is where you will write the headline for your post.
5. Use the open box to write your post. The beige area between the headline and post includes some helpful shortcuts. The first two will allow you to add bold or italic formatting, which you can do following the directions shown on the screen at right.
6. This screen explains how to add links to your post (third paragraph).
7. Another Blogger tool makes it easy to indent material to make it stand out.
8. Check your spelling using the ABC-check icon.
9. Want to see how you post will look? You can preview it from the beige toolbar.
10. When everything is set, click on “Publish Post.” Blogger will let you know when you have published your post successfully and provide you with a link to see how the post looks.
