Professional

Assistant Professor, University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh (2002 - present)

Postdoctoral Associate - University of California - Berkeley (2000 - 2002)

Ph.D. University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (2000)

B.S. summa cum laude, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (1994)

3M Employee, Dental Products Division (1991-1994)

Teaching:  Chem 235,  Introductory organic chemistry 1, lecture and lab

and Chem 335,  Introductory organic chemistry 2, lecture and lab.

Research Interests:  I am interested in all aspects of organic synthesis.  Specifically, my goals involve thedevelopment of new synthetic methods and strategies for improved efficiency and elegance in molecular construction.  These methods are then applied in the synthesis of small molecules having interesting structures or biological activities.  Please see my research page for a more detailed description.
