Welcome to Dr. Kazmi's Webpage

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I graduated in Summer 2008 from the Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences Program at the University of Iowa. My Ph.D. thesis was under the supervision of Professor Weimin Han.

My primary research area is numerical analysis. More specifically, I am interested in the numerical solution of partial differential equations that arise in real-world applications. Over the last several years, I have carried out research on problems from financial mathematics, engineering and biomedical imaging. For more information please see my research page. For information about the courses I teach, please visit my teaching page.
