C. Streams:

In class we discussed the types of streams, their general relationships to mountains and flood plains, drainage basins, and stream processes. When we discussed meandering streams I drew the diagram below to show why this type of stream moves around on the flood plain. It show the path that the maximum flow in the channel follows (red line in map view and blues symbol in the cross section diagrams).
