The physical education specialist meets with early childhood students 25 minutes per week and with students in grades K-5 for 50 minutes per week. Class rules include listening quietly during the time directions are presented and following through on directions the first time they are given. Students are expected to cooperate with teachers and their peers during p.e. activities. There should be no jewelry or toys that interfere with the class. Supplies that are to be provided by parents include socks, shorts or pants (no dresses) and gym shoes that are to be kept at school.
