LITTLE FARMER

Several classes from Lincoln School have taken trips to the Little Farmer near Fond du Lac on the east side of Lake Winnebago. Students enjoyed great outdoor activities including learning the proper way to pick apples, a hay ride, and picking their own pumpkins. The smells of carmel apples and fresh baked apple pies were enjoyed on the bus ride home. This annual trip is always a favorite for staff and students.

PLAYGROUND COMMITTEE NEWS

The playground committee has been working very hard on several fundraising projects to earn money to purchase additional equipment for the Algoma playground. Our recent raffle netted the fund $1713.00. The drawing for prizes was held on October 15th - winner of the football autographed by Brett Favre was: Paul Lor; the Green Bay Packers team-autographed football was: Jan Rottier from Green Bay; $100 cash went to: Freda Richter (Grandomther of Taran Smith); the "Taste of Oshkosh" basket which included hotel and restaurant vouchers went to: Irene Mand of Fond du Lac.

Other winners were Ken Root, Kathy Becker, Paula Coates, Cassy Jean and Sue Sonkarley. Thanks to everyone for supporting this fun event. Our fall Brat sale at Festival Foods netted $600 and the Fall Fundraiser netted $708.00. We are working hard to reach our goal to be able to purchase the final phase of our playground update. Thanks for all your support.
