The Early Childhood program is for children ages 3-5 who display a delay in one or more areas of development. The class is team taught by a teacher, teacher assistant, speech therapist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist. |
Learning in the Early Childhood program is developmentally appropriate. This means that skills will be introduced as children individually demonstrate ability and interest. |

Learning is "hands-on" as we all learn best from direct experiences. Children gain an understanding of the skills taught by actively participating in learning centers and small groups designed to meet the individual needs of the children in the class. |
All skills and concepts are taught through units of study. Most units are centered around a book. Unit activities are off shoots from this book and help make learning fun. |
