Course Description

 

The topics class is designed to allow the instructor to cover specific operations management topics that are relevant at the time of the course offering.  This semester, I have opted for a smorgasbord of 3 topics that are of vital importance to operations managers, yet do not receive enough discussion in our normal course offerings: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Project Management, and Negotiation skills.

 

Assignments

 

The internet will be utilized on a regular basis for feedback and information.  You should check your email account on a regular basis for any changes or notifications.  Written topic assignments will have the details given at the time of assignment.  Participation is critical to your final grade-be prepared for class.

 

Course Evaluation

 

Grades will be determined based upon a 500-point scale based upon the following:
