Dissertation Title:

Using Maintenance Oriented Software Engineering tools to Support Software Maintenance Activities

Research Program:

Empirically-based, theory driven research of the software development and maintenance processes; The general goal of this research is improvement of software development and maintenance through a better understanding of the fundamental underlying processes. The primary process focus is on the individual programmer analyst level. Additional research interests in the areas of management of the IS function, IS related privacy and ethics, end-user computing, and the economics of information systems.
