Wisconsin Philosophical Association
The Wisconsin Philosophical Association, which is entering its fourth decade of existence, is a group of philosophers dedicated to the discussion of philosophical research. Each year there is a meeting at a Wisconsin university or college at which faculty and undergraduates present refereed papers for the enlightenment and examination of other faculty and undergraduates. This is, so far, the main activity of the WPA and anyone interested is invited to submit papers and to attend the annual meeting. The registration fee for the meeting is as minimal as it is possible to be, and there usually is no registration fee.
The 2012 annual meeting of the WPA will be at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday, April 14. There will be concurrent sessions of faculty and graduate student sessions, and each session will have a commentator. There will also be some undergraduate sessions. There will be a free continental breakfast for all participants, and the meeting will take place in Wisconsin’s newest academic building, Sage Hall, a state-of-the-art facility, and the most environmentally friendly and efficient building of its kind.

The meeting is in Sage Hall, and parking is free on campus that day. For a campus map, click here. (Note that on this map, Sage Hall is labeled "New Academic Building," on High Avenue.) The best place to park is in Parking Lot #7 next to Sage Hall.
