Before coming to the first class meeting on Thursday, think of organizations you are in or have been in. I encourage you to jot down notes concerning these questions to assist in discussion, but you do not have to turn in written answers.
ORGANIZATIONS
What are the characteristics of a good activist organization?
How do you define “good” (e.g., gets results, has sense of community, leads to consciousness-raising, is moral, etc.)?
What does it take to have a good organization? List as many as you can, and as much as possible rank their importance.
