Summary of Reports

This assignment gives you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with a major report about climate change, and then to communicate the gist of that to a general audience in a highly succinct form. There are three parts to the assignment.

1. Introductory paragraph (very succinct):
* Agency or organization, part of higher organization? (one sentence)
* Year published
* Sections and size (one sentence)
* Primary focuses
>>> e.g., ocean, atmosphere, weather events, GHG emissions
>>> e.g., geological past, recent situation (e.g., last 10 years), current situation and trends, near-term predictions (next 10 years), mid-term predictions (e.g., 2050), long-terms predictions (e.g., 2100), distant future (e.g., 1,000 years)
* Primary goals
>>> e.g., determine climate sensitivity, future sea level rise, etc.

2. Main findings
