Kelly Monday, Custodial Services, has been named recipient of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh December 2012 STAR Award.
Monday was nominated by Vicki Stadler. Portions of her nomination follow.
“Kelly is an excellent employee who always goes above and beyond her job description. Kelly is always pleasant and polite when dealing with faculty, co-workers, and supervisors. I have received emails from people in her area (Student Success Center) stating that she is always willing to help out in any way possible and has helped out many times outside of her assigned area. I believe that Kelly deserves to be recognized for all the hard work and effort that she puts into her job every day.
“One of those emails is from Sally Masters, Associate Director of Academic Advising:
“”Kelly does a fantastic job. She is diligent, hard working, pays attention to the little things and does a great job cleaning our building. On top of that, she is aware of the slightest details and is willing to do anything to make the SSC a clean and inviting place to be and work. I tell her regularly how much I appreciate her work.””
The CSAC Awards & Recognition Committee submitted this announcement. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
