Add-On Practicum Application Deadlines
In order for the EXCEL Center personnel to run a final check on required coursework, confirm a successful PRAXIS II exam score, review the practicum plan, contact all professionals involved in the practicum experience and submit timely registration for the appropriate practicum course, the suggested deadlines for submitting the Add-On Practicum forms have been set. If paperwork is not submitted by these deadlines, your practicum experience may be delayed.
FALL 2011 PRACTICUM
Preferably, your plan and agreement should be submitted by August 31, 2011. (NO APPLICATIONS FOR THE FALL Add-On PRACTICUM WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2011)
SPRING 2012 PRACTICUM
Preferably, your plan and agreement should be submitted by February 1, 2011. (NO APPLICATIONS FOR THE SPRING Add-On PRACTICUM WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MARCH 1, 2012)
SUMMER 2012 PRACTICUM
Preferably, your plan and agreement should be submitted by May 31, 2012. (NO APPLICATIONS FOR THE SUMMER Add-On PRACTICUM WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 1, 2012)
In order for a Summer Practicum to be considered, you need to submit an explanation or syllabus of the summer course. This must support the fact that the class is open to all student and that the course covers the same curriculum taught during the academic year.
