The UW Oshkosh Add-On Licensure Program offers fully accredited programs that provide you with unique opportunities for growth and advancement. 

All you need to get started is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid Wisconsin teaching license. 

The Add-On Licensure Program is:

With the ability to complete coursework on campus or via distance learning at select accredited two- or four-year institutions, the program provides the flexibility professional educators require.

Our unique program honors your experience and prior learning, using it as the basis for developing an individualized program for achieving your desired teaching license.

If you are currently on an emergency license, your responsibilities include teaching out-of- field or you are looking to expand your expertise to include a new subject or developmental area, the Add-On Licensure Program can help boost your professional expertise by obtaining additional licenses that can enhance school flexibility and teachers’ professional growth and development.

All Add-On programs require the successful completion of: 

• Coursework

• PRAXIS II

• Practicum
