2-year position as a Transportation Program Associate

WISPIRG is seeking a recent college graduate to fill a 2-year position as a Transportation Program Associate in WISPIRG’s Fellowship Program; the position will focus primarily on advocacy and organizing around state and federal transportation policy.  Responsibilities will include conducting research, making the case for solutions, acting as a spokesperson to the media, talking to decision-makers, fundraising and organizing the kind of politically powerful support we need to win.  WISPIRG fellows use and sharpen a wide variety of skills, from writing to public speaking to one-on-one persuasion.  WISPIRG fellowships provide recent graduates with the training and expertise necessary to assume leadership roles as advocates for the public interest; to find out more and to read a job description, please visit http://pirg.org/jobs/positions/show/60.  To apply, interested candidates should contact Bruce Speight at (608) 251-9501 or bspeight@wispirg.orgwww.wispirg.org.
