The United States government has a large number and wide variety of jobs that are related to the environment. But finding the jobs and the qualifications for them can be a challenge. The information below is designed to help you learn about federal jobs. But it will take initiative and regular searching on your part in order to take advantage of these employment possibilities.

The exact qualifications for different levels of federal jobs depends on the type of job. However, what is given below gives a general sense of qualifications for lower level jobs. Note the section on Superior Academic Achievement .
