Job Description:
Events: Help coordinate and organize events
Research: Get information about the Fair Trade movement, Fair Trade on other campuses, and new Fair Trade products
Promote: Help inform the UWO community about Fair Trade
Connect: Reach out to UWO groups, the national student Fair Trade organization, and Fair Trade in the upper Midwest.
Committee: Be an active member of the Fair Trade Committee and keep records.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated to learn about Fair Trade and make a difference on campus.
Ability to follow through and complete tasks on time.
Ability to work independently and to assume a leadership role when appropriate.
Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team effort.
Ability to communicate effectively with various groups on campus.
Ability to research information about Fair Trade, from other campuses, and concerning the availability of Fair Trade products.
Preferred: Ability to learn basic Plone web management (tutored by the supervisor if necessary).
