The Environmental Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh serves as a research and testing center to test beach and well water quality, evaluate materials for biogas potential, and conduct a variety of custom research projects.

Water Testing

We conduct testing for a number of different water-related programs. Our capabilities range from testing at public beaches along Wisconsin's inland lakes and Great Lakes to analysis of public and private drinking water. Learn more.

We are the primary testing facility for the UW Oshkosh Biodigester, the first digester of its kind in North America. Our capabilities include microbial and chemical testing to aid in determination of uses for feedstock. We also provide customized, customer-driven research and consulting to suit client needs. Interns at AQ1Academics

ERIC is committed to serving the needs of external clients while training future scientists in the fields of ecology, environmental and public health, biology, limnology and microbiology through its work. With a teaching laboratory, classroom, and boat on-site, ERIC is a hub for water quality education and research. Learn more.
