Accreditation Timeline

The Department of Engineering Technology is seeking ABET accreditation for its programs in Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. For new programs such as ours, this process begins upon graduation of the first students in each major, which we have accomplished. We have completed our next step, the submission of a Readiness Review for each of the three majors, in late September 2017. Pending a favorable decision in this initial review, we will submit a full Self-Study in June 2018 followed by a site visit in Fall 2018 with a final accreditation decision by ABET anticipated in Spring 2019. For additional information please contact the department chair, , or the department coordinator, .
