University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumna Stacey Cluppert ’10, of Markesan, has been selected to transform the UWO alumni-sponsored nutcracker, as part of Oshkosh’s Nutcrackers on the Town community art project. The design for the “Titan Tools” nutcracker will focus on the basics of education, depicted in the colors of Titan pride … yellow and black.

I would love to see a UWO Nutcracker on every corner in Oshkosh! Good luck with your project.

An update from Stacey: “I have started the most risky part of our nutcracker…getting him “naked”! I have been sanding off his traditional colors to prepare for his new UWO Titan colors. I have only started to collect a few of his Titan Tools … some keyboards and No. 2 pencils. Once I finish sanding and cleaning off the dust, I will continue to collect my materials and hopefully start attaching pieces in the next month.”
Love the idea, and cannot wait to see the fruits of your labor of pride. Go Stacey, and Go Titans!!!
