70 Clifford Christl (LS), of Green Bay, has been named team historian by the Green Bay Packers.

71 Gwen (Coleman) Tatera (EHS), of Appleton, has published a children’s book titled Tales from the Teacher Patrol.

74 Katherine Murphy-Mezera (LS), of Oshkosh, was hired by 44º North Advertising and Design as part of the professional graphic design team.

76 Linda Godfrey (EHS), of Elkhorn, a best-selling author and award-winning journalist, has published a book titled Hunting the American Werewolf.

77 Mark Solverud (LS), of Middleton, has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of National Guardian Life Insurance Company in Madison.

79 Gregory Peck (LS), of Janesville, who has worked for The Gazette in Janesville for 26 years, revised his book titled Death Beyond the Willows.

82 Steve Boettcher (LS), of Mequon, a five-time, Emmy award-winning filmmaker, released his latest film called The Frozen Chosen, which follows two families sturgeon-spearing rituals on Lake Winnebago.

 

85 Scott Martin (EHS), of Las Vegas, Nev., has published his first book titled Moving Forward in Reverse.

86 Steve Buss (LS), of Midland, Texas, completed his first year with the Commemorative Air Force based in Midland, Texas.

90 Robert Smith (MBA), of Christiansburg, Va., has been appointed head of the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials at Virginia Tech.

91 Jillayne (Salter) Halverson (LS) and ’99 (MBA), of Menasha, has been named an assistant professor of business by the Office of Professional and Instructional Development at UW–Fox Valley.

92 Julie (Marzion) Wiedmeyer (EHS), of Sun Prairie, is celebrating her first year as a business owner of The Vanilla Beanery, located in Appleton at the Green Tomato.

93 Brian Kargus (LS), of Marietta, Ga., joined CNN as a sports producer based out of the Atlanta headquarters.

94 Karla Huston (EHS) and Õ03 (MA), of Appleton, is the author of seven chapbooks of poetry, two of which were published in 2013 titled Outside of a Dog and A Theory of Lipstick.

96 Beth (Schallie) Boehnlein, (N) of Menasha, joined Catalpa Health as a psych-certified advanced practice nurse prescriber.

99 Carla Harrison (LS) and (N), of Wisconsin Rapids, has been assigned to missionary work in Peru for the last 13 years, working as a head nurse in a medical clinic.

00 Kelly McNiff (LS) and ’04 (EHS), of New Franken, is the new UW Oshkosh women’s basketball assistant coach.

01 Jason Otto (LS), of Milwaukee, has been promoted to lead chemist with Milwaukee Water Works.

02 Connon Piencikowski (LS), of Pound, opened a new chiropractic clinic, Bayside Chiropractic in Marinette.

04 Christopher Mohr (LS), of Appleton, is the Wisconsin National Guard’s first Buddhist chaplain and also a first lieutenant assigned to the 32nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion.

06 Lauren Young (EHS), of Agoura Hills, Calif., earned her master’s degree from Purdue University in educational administration and leadership.

08 Lesley Fuerst (N) and ’12 (MSN), of New London, has joined ThedaCare Physicians-Clintonville and will be on rotation at the Shawano Medical Center.

09 Robbie Hinz (B), of Clayton, Mo., who earned a law degree from Saint Louis University in 2012, is an attorney for Mercy Health.

11 Ashley Grainger (LS), of Fond du Lac, graduated from Air Force basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas.
