Earth Charter International ECFlash: Addressing Global Climate Change
Addressing Global Climate Change through Local Community Summits
Earth Charter U.S. (ECUS) invites you to host a Climate Change Community Summit on October 11, 2008 and join a global community of 58 cities in celebrating the International Year of Planet Earth.

Using the Earth Charter’s ethical framework for sustainability, each city is encouraged to custom design its Summit to bring people together to effectively address climate change and its impacts in their locale. ECUS is coordinating the Summits and underwriting the web technology that will connect all the cities in a global round-robin on Summit Day as well as for monthly interactions to share experiences and good practices for the following year.
