ASSISTANCE AND EMERGENCY REFERRALS

Try to stay as calm as possible.  If needed, find someone to stay with the employee while you call the appropriate agency.  For employees expressing a direct threat to themselves or others, or for employees acting in bizarre, highly irrational or disruptive ways, act as quickly as possible.

  • FOR IMMEDIATE DANGER:
    • University Police Department (920) 424-1212
  • FOR IMMINENT DANGER:
    • University Police (920) 424-1212 OR
    • 9-911 to dispatch
      • Fire Department
      • Ambulance
      • Oshkosh Police

And Notify your Supervisor.

If the danger is not immediate but imminent, notify your supervisor and take appropriate action.
