About the Dragonboat Race & Festival
The event is designed to celebrate education, community, family, culture and the waterways of Oshkosh. Races will be held along the the Fox River with the Leach amphitheater serving as the “Athlete’s Village” where teams can relax between races. There will also be a variety of activities, entertainment and concessions offered within the Athlete’s Village. As part of the UW Oshkosh Fall Fest celebration, and in partnership with the YMCA and the Grand, the Festival also seeks to:

Proceeds from the Dragonbot Festival will be used to support:
1) Student leadership and involvement scholarships at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
2) The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, offering membership assistance to over 2,400 youth, families and individuals annually. The Strong Kids Campaign assures older adults, individuals with disabilities, group home members, and financially challenged individuals’ participation at the YMCA.
