Kennedy Nursing Fellows

NursingFellows_Pg12_600Through a generous grant from the Dr. and Mrs. Hugh A. Kennedy Foundation in Corpus Christi, Texas, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing established the Kennedy Nursing Fellow Scholarships.

The scholarships allow the College of Nursing to recognize the commitment to excellence of our top nursing students. We appreciate the confidence the Dr. and Mrs. Hugh A. Kennedy Foundation has placed in our nursing program and its commitment to advancing our work of developing caring and scholarly nurse leaders.

In spring 2015, the Kennedy Nursing Fellows scholarship was awarded to graduate nursing students April Garza, Green Bay, and Allison Stephenson, Oshkosh.

The following undergraduate nursing students also were recognized as Kennedy Nursing Fellows: Sara Keller, Green Bay; Haley Quandt, Neenah; Kaitlyn Schmitt, Waukesha; Jennifer Spang, Oconto Falls; and Sara Spuhler, Hartford.

In fall 2015, (pictured above) Wesley Oren, Cottage Grove; Wendy Kons, Ogedensburg; Amy Rutten, Neenah; Brooke Buser, Port Washington; and Kayln Kamps, Platteville, were recognized.
