The eleven students in Professor Steven Huffman’s Business 438, Student-Managed Endowment Fund (SMEF), exemplify the unique opportunities that the UW Oshkosh College of Business has to offer. On Thursday, April 21, these eleven students gave the Student-Managed Endowment Fund spring presentation to an audience of about 75 captivated students, business professionals and professors.
Members of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter were honored Friday April 23, 2011, at the Celebration of Student Leadership and Involvement for their extensive volunteer work.
On Saturday May 14, 2011, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business wrapped up another successful semester by participating in the University commencement ceremony. The COB graduated 293 undergraduate students on Saturday.
This past November, Joey Krebs (MBA ’11), had the chance of a lifetime to participate in one of the longest off-road endurances races. Krebs is an engineer at Oshkosh Corp, who put two of its vehicles to the ultimate test by racing in the 43rd Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, an off-road endurance race held on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula.
For the sixth time in a row, College of Business MBA students have tested in the top 5 percent of all MBA students taking the ETS MBA Major Field Assessment Test.
