Mahesh Subramony is Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh.  His research interests are primarily in the area of strategic human resource management.  He is currently intrigued by why effective HRM practices are adopted or rejected by business organizations, and how these practices impact business performance.  His other research interests are in the areas of employee-customer interactions, strategic climates, and business-process outsourcing.  He received his Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from Central Michigan University and an MA degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi, India.

Prior to joining academics, Dr. Subramony worked for two Fortune 500 companies in their HR function, and remains interested in applied topics, such as workforce metrics and change management. He has given a number of conference presentations and published a number of journal articles. He is a member of Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists and the Academy of Management.
