Located almost directly between the Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn, Salvador is located in the "tropic zone" known for rain forests and great fruits, nuts, and berries. Oshkosh is located in the north-central part of the US in the eastern part of the state of Wisconsin. Located almost directly between the tropic of Cancer and the Arctic circle, Oshkosh experiences a much different climate and eco-system.
