Around Bahia

Bahia is the Brazillian state in which Salvador is located. On weekends and holidays, UW Oshkosh students toured the state.

At Para do Forte, students experienced ecotourism in Brazil when they visited the Tamar Project, which is designed to help preserve marine turtles.

Cutting bananas at a sitio or "little farm" was a new experience for UW Oshkosh students who were assisted by their Brazilian friends.
