Advising
The Political Science department advises all Political Science and Public Administration students as well as students interested in Pre Law.
How Advisors are Assigned
Students who declare Political Science as a major (including double majors) and who have at least 30 credits in Political Science are assigned an advisor from the Political Science Department according the the first initial of their last name.
If your last name begins with: Initials Advisor A - H Dr. Gruberg I - L Dr. Liu M - P Dr. Simmons Q - U Dr. Scribner V - Z Dr. Slagter
All faculty members can be located on the 4th floor of Clow Faculty and their office hours are posted on their office door. If you cannot contact your advisor please see Angelee Hammond, Academic Department Associate, in Clow Faculty 427 or email her at hammond@uwosh.edu.
Advisement Procedures
Political Science majors with 0-90 credits will have a hold placed on their academic records that will be removed when they have met with Angelee Hammond, Academic Department Associate. She will go over your requirements, discuss your portfolio (used in your senior seminar course), and answer any questions you may have. You will also be required to meet with your faculty advisor before your senior year.
