Jeff Chambers Award for Clinical Excellence in Athletic Training

Efforts are underway to raise a minimum $10,000 to endow a student award named after Jeff Chambers, the former Head Athletic Trainer at UW Oshkosh. Jeff is now the Head Athletic Trainer at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He was instrumental in laying the foundation for what is now an accredited program and getting students involved in the profession. The award would go to the top junior or senior athletic training student as voted upon by staff and students. To date, $3025 has been collected. Individuals, groups, or private sector entities wishing to provide support to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Athletic Training Education Program may also designate money toward student scholarship support, supplies, capital equipment maintenance and replacement, textbooks, computer software, anatomic models, and other initiatives.
