STRING CAMP '09

Serious string musicians are invited to join an experienced staff of clinicians committed to helping young people find joy in making music. The camp provides an environment that blends high-quality, intensive instruction with opportunities for sports, recreation and making new friends. Students receive technical assistance and instruction from performer/teachers of violin, viola, cello and bass. Daily life in the camp will consist of string technique sessions, orchestra rehearsals, sections and small chamber ensembles. Evenings feature recreational activities, talent shows, bonfires and chamber music recitals. The week ends with a free concert and reception. Camp participants will stay in supervised dormitory-style rooms on the UW Oshkosh campus. University food service will provide all meals. Camp enrollment is limited.
