The UW Oshkosh Department of Music and Division of Continuing Education and Extension invite students from around the state entering grades 6-8 and grades 9-12 in fall 2008 to this exciting music camp experience. This highly successful camp has choral rehearsal and performance as its focus, but also includes instruction in music theory fundamentals, sight singing and individual vocal coaching as well as additional special-interest classes. In addition to instruction, students will take part in a variety of recreational and social activities. A final concert for families will highlight the camp. Camp participants will stay in supervised dormitory-style rooms on the UW Oshkosh campus. University food service will provide all meals. Qualified camp staff, faculty and group leaders will provide supervision for participants throughout the week. Camp enrollment is limited. Call the Division of Continuing Education and Extension office at (920) 424-1129 or 1-800-633-1442 for a program brochure or download a brochure from their web site. Apply early to assure acceptance.
