With careful planning our Medical Technology students should be able to fulfill the ethnic studies (ES) requirement, follow the sample program and graduate within four years. The following are your options:

FIRST CHOICE: (provides the greatest flexibility). Select one of the following courses which fulfills the ES requirement and counts as an area within the Humanities or Social Science Requirements.

English 219 African-American Literature OR English 221 Asian American Literature Prereq. English 101 or English 110 Fulfills ES and Humanities requirement in Literature	Religious Studies 104 Religions of America No prereq. Fulfills ES and Humanities requirement in Philosophy/Religious Studies.
Music 218 Survey of American Music No prereq. Fulfills ES and Humanities requirement in the Fine Arts.	Religious Studies 105 Honors - Religions of America No prereq. Fulfills ES and Humanities requirement in Philosophy/Religious Studies.

**Special Choices - fulfill ES and Non-Western Culture requirement and count as 3 credits in the Humanities**

There are other courses listed that fulfill ES requirements but they do not work with the MT curriculum.
