COURSE COVERAGE
We will cover the following topics:
- Chapter 1 … Graphs, Functions and Models
- Chapter 2 … Modeling with Linear and Quadratic Functions
- Chapter 3 … Polynomial and Rational Functions
- Chapter 4 … Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
EXAMS
Three one-hour exams – one final exam.

QUIZZES
You will be responsible for quizzes from time-to-time. These will generally be announced ahead of time, but this aspect is not necessary.

Some problems will be suggested. Some problems will be collected to be graded; these will usually involve the calculator assignments.
QUIZ MAKE-UPS
There will be NO make-ups on quizzes.
TEST MAKE-UPS
Make-ups for missed tests will be available in very special cases. (If you intend to miss a scheduled test and expect to get any consideration with respect to a make-up, I should be notified at least 24-hours in advance.)
